Launched by Henry Ford in 1917, the Fordson tractor became a market leader by being the first lightweight, mass-produced tractor that was accessible to everyday farmers. This innovation marked a significant leap forward in agricultural machinery, helping to alleviate the physical strain of farming labor. Due to its cost-effective production, the Fordson quickly gained widespread popularity in the USA. In 1928, production moved to the UK, where the Fordson name remained in use until 1964.
