The Fordson Power Major was produced from 1958 to 1961 by Fordson, part of Ford, in Dagenham, England. It featured a 3.6L 4-cylinder diesel engine and a 3.3L 4-cylinder gasoline engine, both with a 6-speed unsynchronized gear transmission. The tractor delivered a tested drawbar power of 42.63 hp (31.8 kW) and a PTO power of 47.65 hp (35.5 kW). Variants included two-wheel drive models with power assist steering and live rear PTO options.
