The Fordson Super Major was produced from 1961 to 1964 by Fordson, a division of Ford, at their Dagenham, England factory. It was marketed as the Ford 5000 in the United States. The tractor has an engine power of 54 hp, with a PTO power of 47 hp (claimed) and drawbar power of 40.21 hp (tested 47.53 hp). It came with either a Ford 3.6L 4-cylinder diesel engine or a Ford 3.3L 4-cylinder gasoline engine.
