Description
Why buy the Winton WTM140 1.4m Tractor Topper Mower?
Our topper mower WTM140 is ideal for overgrown pasture and paddock areas. It’s the perfect mower for ‘topping’ a variety of grasses, brambles, light scrub and saplings. This topper can be used on smallholdings on areas with grazing horses, sheep or alpacas.
The machine uses rotary style cutting action with 2 blades, one on each end of the blade carrier. This creates the ‘topping’ action when mowing. The cuttings are often longer than other mower types and collect in rows along the skids.
Fully adjustable skids for flexible cutting height, adjustment can be made by simply unbolting the side skids. It is also fitted with a stone guard for extra peace of mind when cutting.
The implement can be attached to the 3 point linkage of a range of small or compact tractors.
A PTO drive shaft with shear bolt protection is included with the mower.

The Winton topper mower is quite good and leaves a tidy finish
The Winton topper mower is quite good and leaves a tidy finish. It is also good for mowing bracken and brambles and even small saplings up to 12mm /18mm thick.

Very well constructed. The topper deals with grass clumps and rushes very effectively. I had an initial problem connecting the pto shaft to the tractor (an old Kubota) but that turned out to be due to an old and much welded towing bracket. Once removed all was well. Thanks
