Setting Up Your GBS5 Sprayer
Install the Battery
- Place the battery into the dedicated compartment.
- Connect the red/brown wires to the positive (+) terminal and the black/blue wires to the negative (-) terminal.
Assemble the Handle
Insert the handle into the rear bracket and secure it with the provided retainer pin.
Prepare the Nozzles
- Red flat nozzle for cone spraying, which is fitted as standard.
- Red wedge nozzle for wide angle spraying, available separately.
Fill the Tank
Fill the sprayer's tank with your chosen spray solution, adhering to the manufacturer’s mixing and handling instructions. It’s advised to not exceed the 20-litre mark to prevent overfilling.
Using the Sprayer
To Start Spraying

- Detach the black nozzle holder from the end of the trigger lance and replace it with the provided brass adaptor.
- Attach the boom to this adaptor, ensuring the nozzle points down.
Maintenance
- Tank: Flush with clean water after each use and perform a thorough washout twice a year.
- Pump: The inlet filter should be unscrewed, cleaned, and correctly reassembled with the black ‘o’ ring seal.
- Spray Nozzles: Regularly check and clean the filter behind each nozzle to ensure even spraying.
- Chassis and Wheels: Grease the wheels twice a year and check the tightness of all fixings.
- General: Remove and grease the thumb screws bi-annually and protect the unit with a light oil spray during off-seasons. Always safeguard the sprayer from frost.
Battery Charging
Connect the charger to the battery wire plug and the mains supply. For optimal performance, charge the battery overnight and keep it frequently charged. The fully charged battery should allow approximately 2.5 to 3 hours of continuous spraying.
