The Rancher ATV Flail Mower is perfect for quad bike owners who need to keep on top of their terrain.
The All-Rounder Pro is capable of mowing everything from grass to unwieldy bushes and nettles across a variety of surfaces, from perfectly flat land to wet, uneven surfaces. It is the perfect solution for neatly maintaining your grounds regardless of their condition.
Designed by landowners and an agricultural design engineer, the All-Rounder Pro Flail Mower is incredibly easy to set up and use. Simply attach the mower to any ATV, 4×4, quad, or UTV, start the engine, and begin mowing. Easily adjust the height from 1 to 8 inches of clearance—ideal for close, neat mowing and taming extensive, out-of-control pastures.
The innovative design allows the user to reposition the wheels for different circumstances. By adjusting the wheels to the rear, the overall mower width is narrower, allowing the flails to cut within centimetres of any obstacles, such as fences, walls, or hedgerows. The flotation tyres are designed to enhance stability, ensuring excellent travel across wet and rough grounds.
We understand that customers may wish to use their All-Rounder Pro Flail Mower in more heavy-duty cases. The body is made of thick 4mm steel plating and powder-coated (red) for extra protection. Additionally, we offer a range of engine choices. For most, the Loncin 13HP and Honda 13HP engines are the optimum choice, and we offer Briggs and Stratton 14HP and Loncin 15HP engines for those who require a higher output.
We fit 4 different petrol engines to the All-Rounder Pro. The smallest engines are 13hp and then we supply 14/15hp for customers who want a more powerful engine. Loncin isn’t as well known as Honda or Briggs and Stratton, but we have been fitting their engines to our flail mowers since 2012 and are happy to say that they perform just as well and have been lasting just as long as the more well-known brands. One downside to them is that they do not have such a well-developed network in the UK, but spare parts are available online at various UK retailers.
What can this ATV Flail Mower Mow? As part of the testing, we mowed a 1 metre tall gorse bush using the All-Rounder Pro fitted with the Briggs 14hp engine. We do not recommend mowing thick vegetation like this, but we wanted to be confident when we tell customers how powerful these flail mowers are.
By the way, the All-Rounder Pro pulverised the gorse bush.
Customers have also reported mowing dense vegetation like heather. When dealing with dense vegetation, our recommendation is to set the cut height as high as possible and mow slowly.
Mowing speed varies greatly based on what is being mowed. You should be able to judge what speed you can mow at based on the noise the All-Rounder Pro is making. You will be able to hear if you are putting it under too much pressure. Start slow and then speed up gradually.
If you feel that the flail mower is getting clogged, you can easily lower the scalping roller to allow a larger gap for the grass to flow out.
When the All-Rounder Pro arrives it will be on a pallet. We will have fitted the wheels straight up in the air to keep the shipping costs down, and the towing bar will be set sideways.
You will need to undo the bolts holding the wheel arms on and refit the wheels how you want.
The towing bar will need a bar slotted through it, two R-clips to lock it in place, and two bolts tightened to the adjustable link tucked underneath it.
This should take 15-20 minutes.
