The Ford 6000 was produced from 1961 to 1964 as a row-crop tractor by Ford in Highland Park, Michigan, USA. It featured a Ford 4.0L 6-cyl diesel or a Ford 3.7L 6-cyl gasoline engine with a 10-speed full power shift transmission. The tractor had a tested drawbar power of 59.3 hp and a PTO power of 66.9 hp. It was originally red but was changed to blue starting in 1963 following a recall for several issues.
